What is The 5 Minute Speaker?
5MinuteSpeaker.com is a multimedia, interactive training site dedicated to teaching
busy professionals how to create and deliver world-class presentations.
It’s no secret that public speaking is one of the key ingredients to success.
Unfortunately, when given a chance between giving a presentation and having a
root canal, most people would choose the root canal.
I'm creating 5MinuteSpeaker.com based on my philosophy that effective speakers
are made - not born. To help you become a more confident, effective speaker I'm
creating fresh, fun, original content that will teach you how to create and deliver
“Standing-O worthy” presentations.
5MinuteSpeaker.com will consist of:
• Course topics including:
• Lessons delivered in a variety of multimedia formats – video, audio and
text versions of courses will be available so you can choose the format that you
prefer (this is all original content - not repackaged stuff pulled out of the archives)
• Personalized speech critiques – send in a video of one of your presentations
and I'll share it with the group along with a critique of what you’re doing well and
areas that may need improvement
• A message board – ask questions, brainstorm ideas, network, and interact
with Steve, as well as other members of the community
• Interviews with public speaking and presentation skills experts
• Speech templates to help you easily kick off the process of writing an effective
speech
• A comprehensive listing of resources that will help you find the perfect
photo, quote, visual aid, etc. for your presentation
• Continuously updated course material that brings you the latest tips,
techniques, ideas, resources, etc.
• And a lot more based on the needs and feedback of our members.
